Texas Children's Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to support pediatric patients from 0 to adulthood in a fast-paced outpatient setting in Houston. The role includes planning, evaluating, organizing and implementing PT treatment programs, with potential focus on developmental and vestibular populations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physical Therapy, Texas state PT license, and experience with pediatric vestibular/developmental patients.

Qualificações

• Completes patient evaluations and reassessments per hospital guidelines.
• Develops individualized care plans based on evaluation findings.
• Provides clinical leadership and mentorship to staff and students.
• Documents patient information in EMR with minimal errors (≤6/year).
• Informs manager of unsafe situations and participates in safety initiatives.
• Supports Quality Improvement activities and respiratory fit testing as required.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts patient evaluations and develops plans of care.
• Provides clinical mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Documents patient information in EMR with minimal errors.
• Acts as clinical instructor for at least 1 student per year.
• Maintains safety by reporting unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Participates in Quality Improvement and respiratory fit testing programs.
