Job summary

PM Pediatrics in Annapolis, MD seeks a Registered Nurse (full-time) to support pediatric urgent care operations under physician supervision. The RN will obtain medical history and vital signs, assist with procedures, administer medications, and contribute to total patient care within scope of practice.

This role requires pediatric experience, an active RN license, BLS (PALS recommended), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• RN license or compact state licensure required.
• Pediatric care experience in urgent care or similar setting preferred.
• BLS certification required; PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and patients.
• Obtain patient history, vitals, and triage needs.
• Perform venipuncture, IV insertion, and medication administration under supervision.
• Assist physicians with total patient care and determinations.
• Maintain supplies, sterilize equipment, and support exam rooms.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Support lab quality checks and coordinate imaging when needed.
