Tanner Health’s Urgent Care Pediatric clinic in Carrollton, GA is hiring a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver compassionate care to newborns through 18 years old. Job description

Tanner Health is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Tanner Urgent Care Pediatric clinic.

Structure of position and Clinic Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8a - 8p (or until last patient seen); Sat/Sun 8a - 5p (or until last patient seen)
• Practice will be located inside the Tanner Health Pavilion in Carrollton, Georgia
• Must be willing to treat newborns to 18 years of age
• Excellent clinical, administrative and management support
• Tanner utilizes EPIC EMR system wide

Qualifications

• Completion of Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or master’s degree from accredited Physician Assistant program
• Two years of experience preferred
• Active GA license or meet criteria for obtaining licensure
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians
• Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Must meet credentialing criteria.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient medical records, physician orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital and/or other physician.
• Must possess the sense or discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
