Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver urgent care for ages newborn to 21 in Pooler and Hinesville. The role covers acute illness, injuries, suturing, and basic X-ray interpretation in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Ideal candidates have pediatric urgent care or ER background, strong clinical and communication skills, and comfort with EMR work. Full-time outpatient position with weekend rotation offered.

Qualifications

• Active NP license required to practice as a pediatric clinician.
• Pediatric urgent care or ER experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication abilities.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
• Willingness to work across Pooler and Hinesville locations with every-other-weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in urgent care.
• Perform exams, procedures, and develop treatment plans.
• Do suturing and assist with X-ray interpretations as needed.
• Maintain EMR documentation using Experity.
• Deliver high-quality, family-centered patient care.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Location: Pooler & Hinesville, GA

Employment: Full-Time | Outpatient Pediatric Urgent Care

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide urgent care services for patients from newborn to age 21. The ideal candidate will have prior Pediatric Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience and be comfortable managing acute illnesses, injuries, suturing, and basic X‑ray interpretation in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in an urgent care setting
• Perform physical exams, procedures, and treatment planning
• Conduct suturing and assist with X‑ray evaluations as needed
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation using Experity
• Provide high‑quality, family‑centered patient care

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner License
• Pediatric Urgent Care or ER experience required
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
• Must be willing to work at both Pooler and Hinesville locations and every other weekend
