Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced LPN for our Urgent Care Pediatrics team at 20 Wall Street, Burlington, MA. The schedule features two 9-hour weekday shifts (8am–5pm) and every other weekend (Sat/Sun 8:30am–2:30pm).

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates, generous PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement and opportunities for career progression within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state-approved school of practical nursing.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a practical nurse in Massachusetts.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient with electronic tools and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Functions within a designated clinical team.
• Obtains and documents patient information and health status; intervenes within scope and escalates when needed.
• Provides standard patient education under a documented plan of care.
• Obtains vital signs and other department-based testing.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy.
• Starts and monitors IV infusions; communicates IV needs to clinician.
• Documents all patient care activities in the EMR.
