Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric or urgent care experience to join our expanding team in Paramus, New Jersey. Under the supervision of the Regional Medical Officer, APPs will evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care, using evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Pediatric clinical experience required; ER/UC experience preferred.
• Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification.
• Active RN and NP/PA state license where treating.
• MSN/Doctoral in Nursing or PA Studies degree required.
• Minimum 2 years independent pediatric APP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute pediatric injuries and illnesses in-person and via telemedicine.
• Perform urgent care procedures: abscess drainage, foreign body removal, laceration repair.
• Provide radiographs interpretation with radiologist over-reads where allowed.
• Oversee daily patient flow and supervise staff and trainees.
• Ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams to complete daily tasks.
• Drive efficiency and antibiotic stewardship to improve patient experience.
