Children's Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a PRN Ultrasonographer to perform non-cardiac ultrasound exams across body parts and assist radiologists.

The role requires a HS diploma with SPI, ARDMS credentials (abdomen and pediatric), and BLS certification. On-site position with vaccine requirements and Lean improvement involvement. Starting pay is $38.47/hr, with on-site benefits and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and passed SPI (physics) exam.
• Other ARDMS credentialed and one year of clinical ultrasound experience may be substituted for an accredited ultrasound program; pediatric experience preferred.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography with Abdomen Specialty (AB-RDMS)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a Pediatric Sonography Specialty (PS-RDMS)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography with an Abdomen Specialty (AB-RDMS) Required 90 Days
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Pediatric Sonography (PS-RDMS) within 2 years Required
• BLS certification Required 30 Days
• RDMS-RVT preferred

Responsabilités

• Performs Ultrasound procedures per department protocol.
• If ARRT registered, utilize and be competent with all general diagnostic exams and ultrasound equipment.
• Assists radiologist in all appropriate procedures.

Formation

HS diploma or equivalent; SPI exam

ARDMS credentialed; one year ultrasound experience substituted for program

Abdomen Specialty (AB-RDMS)

Pediatric Sonography Specialty (PS-RDMS)

RDMS-RVT (Vascular) preferred
