TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role requires NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS with at least 1 year of acute care experience.

The Peds-RRT will deliver direct patient care across pediatric units, perform arterial punctures, and manage respiratory therapies according to guidelines. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, typically on 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients as needed.
• Maintain patient records/documentation and ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and functional.
