Job summary
American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Pediatrics RN with California licensure and at least 2 years of pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment. The role places you primarily in the Pediatrics unit with occasional float to PICU/NICU, 3x12-hour nights 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, and patient ratios around 1:4.

Qualifications
- Active CA RN license required.
- BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required.
- Prior travel nursing experience required.
- Pediatric unit with float to PICU/NICU experience preferred.
- Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and IV maintenance.
- Knowledge of pediatric dosing and anti-seizure meds.
Responsibilities
- Primary placement in Pediatrics unit with float to PICU/NICU as needed.
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM).
- Patient ratio of 1:4.
- Epic charting system experience required.
- Provide direct patient care across pediatric medsurg, oncology, and step-down settings.
- Holiday coverage with limited RTO per contract; local candidates within 50 miles at local rate.
