Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN is required.
• Current RN license in New York state or equivalent compliance.

• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to children and their families to foster understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
• Prepare pediatric equipment and assist clinicians during procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and document vital signs and responses.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with families to implement individualized care plans for children.
