Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Neenah, WI is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our Transport team. This role provides critical care in a mobile environment, caring for neonatal through adult patients and their families during ground transport to CHW-Fox Valley.

The position can be a 0.6 or 0.75 night shift with every 3rd weekend. You will participate in education, discharge planning, collaboration, and quality improvement while maintaining safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• 1+ years of critical care experience in neonatal, pediatric, or adult ICU preferred for transport duties.
• Wisconsin licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRP) required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, performs, and maintains respiratory care modalities.
• Participates in discharge planning, patient education and case management.
• Collaborates with the health care team to ensure efficient patient care during transport.
• Maintains and rotates shifts to meet patient care needs and performs in emergency situations.
• Ensures safety and quality improvement within CHW-FV Transport operations.
