Job summary

Children’s Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for Transport to join its CAMTS-accredited pediatric & neonatal transport team. You will provide critical care in flight, helicopter, and ground ambulances across Nebraska and surrounding states, working with flight nurses and paramedics.

The role demands proficiency in pediatric pathophysiology, emergency procedures, and documentation, with leadership and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• APRn licensure in Nebraska is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Critical Care is required.
• Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage care and transport of pediatric patients by air and ground transport.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and referral teams; demonstrate nursing leadership.
