Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Leisure with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.
• NCTRC certification (CTRS) is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with eligibility to drive hospital vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs interview and assessment of patient’s leisure functioning and related needs.
• Establishes leisure goals and determines interventions to achieve them.
• Records clinical treatment notes in EMR and prepares progress reports for the treatment team.
• Provides therapeutic recreation services to patients and monitors equipment and facilities.
