Qualifications

• State Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Attendant course or current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and supports a clean, safe environment.
• Communicates patient needs and changes in condition to the Registered Nurse.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement activities and uses computer systems effectively.
• Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
