The continued expansion of the leading Tele-Infectious Diseases Program of the Division of Infectious Diseases (ID) at UPMC provides outstanding practice opportunities for full-time or part-time ID physicians.
These unique positions are primarily for inpatient Tele-ID consultative services across multiple healthcare facilities. Resident/fellow teaching as well as rounding time on traditional inpatient services at UPMC and at various other geographic locations are available although not required.
Distinct advantages of the positions include working from home including remote (out of state) residence, along with competitive compensation and benefits. Opportunities for in-person rounding at various geographic locations might also be possible if of interest.
All positions come with faculty appointments in the widely recognized UPMC ID Division (rank commensurate with experience) and employment by the University of Pittsburgh Physicians. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases.
