Job summary

Children's Wisconsin, a nationally recognized pediatric hospital, is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. You will promote safe patient care, prepare for procedures, and manage the sterile field while assisting the surgical team.

Responsibilities include passing instruments, anticipating needs, and ensuring appropriate supply and equipment from neonatal to adult patients. BLS certification is required; CST certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completion of a surgical technologist program.
• Experience required: 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe patient care and prepares for surgical procedures.
• Manages the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assists surgeon by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Handles supply, instrumentation and equipment from neonatal to adult patients.
