Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Registered Nurse for our general pediatrics stepdown unit in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a FULL-TIME position offering 72 hours biweekly, with rotating or night shifts and every third weekend and holiday rotation.

The role focuses on post-operative pediatric care on 3 East, including patients with renal issues and ventilator needs. A DE nursing license and BLS are required; BSN is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current Delaware nursing license or eligibility.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required.
• BSN preferred; if ADN, BSN must be completed within three years.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative pediatric care on the 3 East unit.
• Monitor patient conditions with bedside monitors and EMR access.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and adjust patient care.
• Assist with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and wound/line care.
