Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program is required.
• Completion of an accredited surgical assist program or at least 3 years of experience as a surgical assist after receiving workplace training is required.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of assigned surgical procedures under the direct guidance of a physician.
• Prepare for surgical procedures and assist the entire surgical team.
• Assume all principal duties and responsibilities of a surgical technologist as assigned.
