Job summary

Johns Hopkins Pediatric Surgery is seeking up to two surgeons to join our busy, dynamic and highly collaborative team. We provide the full range of pediatric surgery with subspecialty programs in colorectal, fetal, robotic, oncology, MIS, ECMO and aerodigestive surgery, and house the state's only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and ABA-accredited pediatric burn program.

Instruction is provided within the highly-rated ACGME fellowship in pediatric surgery.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible pediatric surgeon with commitment to Johns Hopkins' academic mission.
• Willingness to participate in fellowship, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities

• Join a busy, highly collaborative pediatric surgery team.
• Provide the full range of pediatric surgical care, including subspecialty programs.
• Contribute to clinical coverage for community hospitals within the network.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activity as part of the academic mission.

Job description

Johns Hopkins Pediatric Surgery is seeking up to two surgeons to join our busy, dynamic and highly collaborative team. Our group provides the full range of pediatric surgery, and includes pediatric subspecialty programs in pediatric colorectal, fetal, robotic, oncology, advanced MIS, ECMO, aerodigestive, and short gut surgery. We house the only level 1 pediatric trauma center and the only ABA-accredited pediatric burn program in the State of Maryland. Instruction is provided within the highly-rated ACGME fellowship in pediatric surgery. Academic support for clinical or basic science is available for suitable candidates, and participation in pediatric surgical coverage of our network of community hospitals is also included.
