Qualifications

• ADN required.
• 1 year pediatric experience or KP pediatric training within the last 12 months.
• Current California RN license; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente’s policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader, resource, and mentor to team members.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and effective pain control.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide customer service.
• Organize work to minimize overtime and improve efficiency.
