Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Staff Nurse in Pediatrics to provide specialized nursing care across multiple disciplines in a busy, multispecialty practice.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, a NYS RN license, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year in acute care and outpatient pediatrics-related settings. A full-time day shift with travel between Hudson Valley Medical Group sites is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience is required.
• At least 1 year of outpatient RN experience in Pediatrics, Allergy, Gastroenterology, or Internal Medicine is preferred.
• Current New York State RN license is required.
• BLS certification through the AHA is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a multi-specialty practice including Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, and Internal Medicine.
• Cross-train in various specialties as needed.
• Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with varying hours based on operational needs.
• Travel to other Hudson Valley Medical Group locations as required.
