Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a Speech Therapist for inpatient rehab to implement treatment plans and support patient recovery. You will assist with progress evaluation and discharge planning, and maintain accurate records.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure, and BLS. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external hires, with relocation and tuition assistance available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed by the CA Speech-Language Pathology Board; BLS.
• Preferred: speech therapy or healthcare experience.

Job Objective:

• Implements treatment plans and selects modalities to meet specific established goals. Provides prescribed speech therapy treatment to facilitate the rehabilitation of mentally or physically handicapped patients. Assists in the evaluation of patient progress and recommends discharge planning. Conducts and assists with patient activities and maintains appropriate records.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Master’s degree in Speech Therapy (ST) or Speech Language Pathology

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: Licensed by the ST Board of State of California; American Heart Association BLS

Experience:

• Preferred: Speech therapy or healthcare experience
