North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-clinic therapy through evaluations and individualized treatment plans. This part-time role offers a compensation of $57–$70 per billable hour and includes opportunities for professional development, flexible scheduling, and a supportive clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an Illinois license, and a commitment to helping children reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an Illinois state license in good standing.
• Prior experience conducting assessments to identify strengths and needs of clients.
• Eager to grow skills in high-demand clinical areas such as AAC, feeding, and childhood apraxia of speech.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders.
• Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to improve speech, language, social, and feeding skills.
• Educate families, staff, and the community on AAC and other communication supports.
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists for coordinated care.
• Keep detailed records of progress and adjust plans as needed.
