Job summary

Family of Kidz in the Hudson Valley seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across districts. You will design and implement individual and group language interventions, administer evaluations, and collaborate with BCBAs and Special Educators to enhance communication goals. Experience with autism and AAC devices is preferred.

Bilingual skills are a plus. We offer comprehensive Full Time benefits and competitive hourly pay; compensation is $110/hour, with flexibility based

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with NYSED certification (TSSLD or TSHH).
  • Experience working with students with autism preferred.
  • Experience programming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
  • Administer and create speech and language evaluations.
  • Ongoing communication and collaboration with BCBA and Special Educators regarding language and functional communication.
  • Oversight of student’s AAC devices.
  • Utilize behavior management strategies and behavior intervention plans during sessions.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school districts, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain schedule.
  • Collect data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
