Qualifications

• Active state license to practice Speech Language Pathology and CCC-SLP.
• Minimum of two years of pediatric practice experience.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Strong communication skills with children, families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and plan treatment for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Administer and interpret speech and language evaluations with standardized tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians.
• Deliver therapy sessions and coordinate with other therapies to maximize outcomes.
• Educate families to support patient progress at home and in daily life.
• Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with occupational and physical therapists and other staff to provide coordinated care.
