Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date.
  • One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support continued growth.
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
