Therapy 2000 seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN after-school caseload in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area of Texas. This role focuses on home-based pediatric speech services with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and support children in familiar environments.

The position requires a Texas license and 3+ years of pediatric experience, with preferred exposure to feeding therapy certifications (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS).

• Active Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• 3+ years as a pediatric SLP.
• Experience in home-health settings.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers and disciplines to coordinate care.
• Meet a minimum number of patient visits weekly and complete chart updates and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
