Therapy 2000 is seeking a bilingual Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to serve Denton, Krum, Ponder, and surrounding TX areas. You will conduct evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in a home-based setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas SLP license, have 3+ years in pediatrics, and bring home-health experience. Fees include opportunities for CE, stipend programs, and a robust benefits package for part-time schedules.

Formación

• Current Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• 3+ years of pediatric SLP experience.
• Experience in home-health settings.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related specialties such as VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive speech therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with patients' medical team to coordinate care.
• Complete required patient visits weekly per agency guidelines.
• Keep patient charts updated with progress and documentation.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
