Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality, age-appropriate care for patients from newborn to 20 years, within scope of practice and established standards. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders/SLP, Georgia licensure, CCC‑SLP, and BLS within 30 days of employment. Travel to clinical locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pediatric theory and practice.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication.
• Positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in an interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, meeting established standards.
• Develops plan of care and implements evidence-based treatment interventions.
• Completes documentation meeting departmental standards.
• Includes family/caregiver in patient care and provides education and documentation.
• Provides clinical oversight to aides, fellows, and students as assigned.
• Demonstrates competencies across age groups including neonates to adolescents.
• Maintains accreditation readiness and travels to clinical locations as needed.
