Job summary

Wolfson Children's Hospital in downtown Jacksonville is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN position in our Outpatient Pediatric Rehab Team at the Nemours Clinic.

The ideal candidate will have pediatric outpatient experience, be able to work weekdays during periods of high census and holiday rotations, and hold a CCC-SLP with ASHA and an active state license. BLS required. Evaluation and multidisciplinary care with rehab, nursing and physicians are everyday expectations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year outpatient pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Licensed SLP with CCC-SLP certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of patients with all diagnoses.
• Provide extensive patient/family education.
• Provide multidisciplinary team care with rehab, nursing, physicians, social services, respiratory and support staff.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EMR and communicate effectively.
