Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for the Wolfson North outpatient rehab clinic near the Jacksonville International Airport. This PRN, day shift position serves a pediatric caseload with emphasis on medically complex infant feeding.

Qualified candidates hold a Master of Science or Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, ASHA CCC, and BLS. One year of developmental experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (M.S. or M.A.).
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment for pediatric patients.
• Provide extensive patient and family education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehab team and staff.
• Participate in department operations and quality improvement.
• Remain within budget guidelines and resources.
• Complete required education and licensure commitments.

Wolfson Children’s Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist at the Wolfson North outpatient rehab clinic near the Jacksonville International Airport.

This is a PRN, day shift opportunity at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation.

We are looking to hire an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This PRN position will work with a pediatric caseload at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses.
• Provide extensive patient/family education.
• Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc.
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
• Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
