Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for the outpatient rehab clinic located near Jacksonville International Airport. This is a PRN day shift role that does not require weekend, holiday, or call rotation.

The ideal candidate will evaluate and administer treatment to patients while also providing extensive education to families. The position requires a Master's degree, a valid license, and a strong understanding of speech and language disorders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certification from ASHA required.

Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist at the Wolfson North outpatient rehab clinic near the Jacksonville International Airport. This is a PRN day shift opportunity with no weekend, holiday, or call rotation.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses.
• Provide extensive patient/family education.
• Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc.
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
• Remain within budget guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

Experience Requirements

• 1 or more year(s) Developmental Experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Speech/Language Experience (Required)
• Voice Experience (Preferred)

Education & Credential Requirements

• Master of Science or Master of Arts (Required)
