Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorder is required.
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is preferred.
• Valid license as Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies.
• Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
• Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures.
• Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
