Sentara Therapy Center - Pediatric Belle Harbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for our Outpatient Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorder is required.
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is preferred.
• Valid license as Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• BLS certification is required.

As a Speech Language Pathologist you will:

• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
• Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

Education

• Minimum - Bachelor's Degree Speech Pathology or Communications Disorder (Required)
• Master's Degree Speech Language Pathologist (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Valid license Speech Language Pathologist. (Required)
