Job summary

The Speech and Language Center in Sterling, Virginia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric team, delivering compassionate, child-led care in a multidisciplinary clinic.

We partner with Cicero Therapies to provide collaborative, family-centered services. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, collaborate with OTs/PTs/BCBAs, coach caregivers, maintain documentation, and participate in meetings and outreach within a supportive, growth‑mfocused culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Virginia SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CF candidates encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Collaborative, compassionate clinician who values family-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping children and families thrive

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy that is child-led, family-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and BCBAs to provide coordinated, whole-child care
• Educate and coach caregivers to support progress beyond the therapy session
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with families, referral sources, and fellow team members
• Participate in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and community outreach initiatives
