Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed or license-eligible Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska.
• Clinical Fellows (CFYs) encouraged to apply.
• ASHA CCC-SLP eligibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and help prevent speech, language, cognitive communication, swallowing, and fluency disorders.
• Identify and provide intervention for clients with communication deficits in expressive and receptive language, memory, attention, and problem solving.
• Select alternative communication methods when appropriate (sign language, low/high-tech AAC).
• Explain test results and interventions to staff and families; coordinate with medical teams.
