Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support pediatric patients in a hospital setting on a contract basis. You will assess, treat, and document progress for children with diverse communication and swallowing needs, working within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with physicians, therapists, and families, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient contexts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric therapy within a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques for pediatric disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and swallowing therapy in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, OTs, PTs, and families for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress in hospital systems.
• Educate families about therapeutic interventions and at-home strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and pediatric care planning.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric therapy within a hospital setting
• Knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children
• Effective communication and clinical documentation skills
• Compassion, adaptability, and strong teamwork ethic

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
• Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and swallowing therapy in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families to ensure integrated care
