Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Irving, TX is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct evaluation and treatment for children, supporting independent and functional communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP from ASHA, Texas licensed or eligible, and at least 1 year of pediatric experience; strong communication, documentation, and self-direction are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC-SLP).
• Holds a Texas license or is license eligible for TX.
• At least 1 year of pediatric Speech Language Therapy experience.

Pediatric speech language pathologists at FYZICAL provide direct speech/language therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Speech Language Pathologist demonstrates competency in screening, evaluation, planning, and habilitative/rehabilitative treatment to infants, children, and adolescents with speech, language, feeding, cognition, and oral motor performance. Provides clinical care activities utilizing evidenced-based practice. Able to understand, document, and react effectively to the age specific needs unique to assigned patients.
