Job summary

Easterseals Southwest Florida is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct services to clients with special needs across settings including an inclusive preschool, a center-based elementary school, and an outpatient clinic.

The role involves assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with physicians, families, and the care team to support communication and swallowing delays. Pediatric cases predominate, with opportunities to work with adults as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC or CF credential from ASHA and Florida license (or licensed eligible). Florida Medicaid and NPI numbers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and determine intervention needs.
• Coordinate evaluation findings and treatment plans with clients, families, and team.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment per physician orders.
• Develop home or community programming to support client performance.
• Document assessments, treatment, and discharge planning.
