Job summary

ADAPT Community Network in New York City is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to conduct assessments and provide therapy under multiple educational plans. The role collaborates with families and school teams to support communication development.

Responsibilities include planning interventions, documenting progress, and abiding by regulatory requirements. A NYS license and ASHA CCC are required, with CFY candidates considered for supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology.
• ASHA CCC required.
• NYSED Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing.
• CFY candidates will be supervised.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech and language assessment and evaluation to determine student’s developmental level and needs.
• Plans and conducts speech and language interventions aligned to goals.
• Maintains progress notes and reports for families and regulatory bodies.
• Participates in team meetings and case conferences as required.
• Provides supervision to students and CFY’s as assigned.
