Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient medical, mental and emotional needs at admission and ongoing care; develops a plan of care including discharge planning.
• Advocates for patients; treats them and families with compassion and implements plan of care.
• Demonstrates clinical reasoning and performance of patient care activities; evaluates therapy interventions.
• Identifies normal course of illness in pediatric populations and intervenes when deviations occur.
• Communicates patient information and documents therapist's actions and plan of care.
• Provides clinical leadership and mentoring.
