Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide age-appropriate care for patients from newborn to 20 years, within rehabilitation services. You will join an interdisciplinary team and contribute to safe, evidence-based patient care.

The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, family education, and supervision of clinical fellows and aides. Travel to clinic locations may be required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Georgia licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible.
  • ASHA CCC in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patients within scope of practice to established standards.
  • Develops care plans and implements evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes.
  • Completes documentation meeting content, accuracy, and timeliness requirements.
  • Involves family/caregiver in care and provides teaching and learning materials.
  • Provides clinical oversight to SLP Aides, CF/paid clinical fellows, and students.
  • Demonstrates age-specific competencies for Neonate to Adolescent ages as applicable.
  • Supports accreditation readiness and related continuous improvement efforts.
  • Travels to clinical sites to deliver patient care per census or contracts.
