Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy to pediatric patients (0–21) in home or daytime clinic settings. The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and Texas licensure, with pediatrics experience; home health preferred and Spanish-speaking a plus.

Valid auto insurance and driver’s license are required. The clinician will work with a multidisciplinary team, educating families and staff, and may supervise

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP Clinical Fellowship completed.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
