Happyian Therapy & Academy in Illinois is expanding and seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our collaborative, play-based team. We prioritize mentorship, confidence-building, and high-quality clinical care for children.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible schedules and competitive compensation. Our center uses DIR-informed, family-centered care with a strong focus on communication, social skills, and functional outcomes across home and school settings.

Qualifications

• Illinois SLP license or CF eligibility is required or in process.
• CCC-SLP eligibility after CF year or current CCC-SLP.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver play-based speech-language therapy to pediatric clients.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team for goals.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to Clinical Fellows and junior clinicians.
• Support family education and functional communication across settings.

Happyian Therapy & Academy is expanding and seeking a Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our collaborative, play‑based team. Clinical Fellows, entry‑level SLPs, and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply. We prioritize mentorship, confidence‑building, and high‑quality clinical care. Part‑time and full‑time opportunities as well as hourly and salary based positions.

Position Options

• Full‑Time: 30+ billable hours – Starting at $50/hour
• Part‑Time: 18+ billable hours – Starting at $51/hour

Our Clinical Approach

We provide play‑based, relationship‑centered speech and language therapy, informed by DIR and developmental frameworks. Treatment targets include expressive and receptive language, AAC, social communication, and pragmatic skills, with an emphasis on functional communication, self‑advocacy, and generalization across environments. Family education and interdisciplinary collaboration are integral components of care.

Mentorship & Support

• 10 hours/month of direct mentorship and supervision
• Supervision reassessed annually based on clinician needs
• Paid administrative time
• Strong support for Clinical Fellows and developing clinicians

Continuing Education

• Annual CEU stipend for both full‑time and part‑time employees

Qualifications

• Illinois Speech‑Language Pathology state license or temporary license (CFs)
• Current certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology, or eligibility following completion of the Clinical Fellowship year
