Job summary

Joe’s Kids, a pediatric therapy clinic in Warsaw, IN, seeks a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide diagnosis, treatment and prevention for oral motor, swallowing, and language disorders in children. You will develop plans of care, implement evidence-based therapy, and document progress in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include educating families, coordinating with the care team, supervising students, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and CCP policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Speech-Language & Hearing Pathology program and ASHA CCC eligibility.
• Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in Indiana.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment and prevention strategies for oral motor, swallowing, cognitive linguistic, and speech and language disorders in children.
• Evaluate young clients and develop a plan of care with goals and measurable speech outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and revise treatment plans for articulation and language disorders.
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment notes and discharge summaries.
• Educate families and promote home exercise programs to support therapy goals.
• Refer families to community resources as needed.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and attend meetings.
• Supervise students and ensure proper supervision of staff as needed.
• Assist with routine clinic operations and comply with CCP and regulatory standards.
