Job summary

Pediatrics Plus is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver evaluation and treatment for children ages 0-21 across home, school, clinic and community settings. You’ll collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to create goals, implement evidence-based therapy, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted speech-language pathologist license as approved by the state licensing board.
• Current ASHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administration and other disciplines involved in the child’s care to promote consistent and quality services for children and families.
• Evaluate children using appropriate testing protocols to follow funding guidelines for each child.
• Create appropriate goals/objectives to be turned in with each evaluation.
• Schedule children on caseload by contacting the parent/guardian.
• Provide therapy services to children based on the recommended number of units from evaluations and prescriptions.
• Provide therapy services in settings including home, daycare, schools, outpatient clinic, and community.
• Document all therapy services with weekly progress notes and timely paperwork.
• Attend required meetings for professional development and growth and participate in multidisciplinary conferences.
