Job summary

The Henry Ford Health System is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Pediatric Gastroenterology Advanced Feeding Therapy Program at Royal Oak Medical Center. You will provide clinical services for children with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, including evaluations, treatment planning, therapy, and follow-up care.

The ideal candidate has pediatric experience, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Praxis examination.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Michigan license and CCC‑ASHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric speech, language and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy to children with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document progress and maintain clinical records.
• Participate in case reviews and care planning.
• Provide mentorship to clinical fellows, as applicable.
