Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Valid teaching certificate in either TSHH or TSSLD.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric populations.
• Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders in children.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address speech, language, and cognitive deficits.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
