Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to children in Early Intervention across home or center settings on Long Island and NYC. The role includes evaluations, progress tracking, and delivering IFSP-mandated therapy.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree in SLP, be eligible for ASHA CCC or CF status, be licensed as required, and have DOH approval. Competitive pay ranges are listed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related area acceptable to ASHA.
• Must possess or be eligible for ASHA CCC, CF status, or ASHA clinical fellowship involvement.
• Must be licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in the Early Intervention program, in home or center settings.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Speech Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support each child’s goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
