Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide pediatric PT services within the Early Intervention program, including home or center visits on Long Island and NYC.

You will perform evaluations, track progress, and implement IFSP-directed therapies to support each child’s development. Responsibilities include collaborating with families and professionals, documenting progress, and guiding mobility and safety exercises.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unencumbered Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Qualifying degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent).
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in the Early Intervention program, including home or center settings.
• Perform evaluations and assess child progress.
• Deliver PT services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child’s goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility, orientation safety, and exercises.
